WHAT is EMDR

EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy.  EMDR is an evidence based, comprehensive treatment for trauma.  In addition to being a gold standard trauma treatment, EMDR can be used to treat addictions, anxiety, and many other issues. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation and the guidance of the therapist to help your nervous system be better regulated and help process distressing or disturbing material.

Should you consider EMDR Therapy?

Have you tried “traditional talk therapy” or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and you feel stuck? Are you looking for something therapeutic that incorporates your body and nervous system?
